Our goal is to provide an environment that provides a feeling of home for each Elder. We encourage individuality: as each suite is unfurnished, giving every Elder and their family the opportunity to decorate their private room with their familiar belongings that make the transition into their new home easier.
Our Elders live on 4 neighborhoods located on 2 floors: Ivy Trails, Ramblin' Rose, Blueberry Bay and Marigold Lane. Within each neighborhood lives 12 Elders.
Each suite is roughly 400 sq/ft in size, large enough to accommodate a twin size bed, small dining room table, couch/love seat/recliner and other furniture. Our suites are among the largest in the province! In addition to each suite, each Elder has access to a fire place lounge, games room, gathering room, living room and 4 seasons sun room.
In addition to the abundant indoor space, the Irene Baron Eden Centre has a beautifully landscaped courtyard with a long and winding walking path. We also have a large covered patio area, shared with River East Personal Care Home, that provides shade on hot days and protection from the elements. Lastly, a gazebo is also accessible for our Elders and family members who wish to have private BBQ's in the summer.
