Personal Care Home
If it was my parent, how would I care for them

Our Philosophy of Care

Our Home's primary purpose is to provide personalized service and care, specializing in Dementia related illness. Continued access to human/animal companionship, diverse programs/events, apartment style living and food for all likes is provided to our Elders in order to promote their well being.

We recognize that the Elder is at the core of our world, that each Elder shall be treated with dignity as each of them has a past, present and future story to tell from which we can learn.

The Irene Baron Eden Centre operates in conjunction with the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority to provide quality services and care.

We also believe in working with our community partners, such as the Alzheimer's Society, in supporting our families, Elders and team members during their journey within the health care continuum.

River East Personal Care Home Ltd. and the Irene Baron Eden Centre recognize that it has a corporate and social responsibility as an employer, economic entity, educational resource and as a community partner. To achieve our commitment and meet our responsibilities, we believe that a people-oriented management approach is the key to success. Our Home has been designed and is operated in such a way as to create a homelike and supportive atmosphere for the Elders, their families, staff and volunteers. Our environment enables Elders to exercise control and choice whenever and wherever possible.

Our Mission

Within our home-like atmosphere, through compassion we are dedicated to:
  • Providing peace of mind
